The Big Idea...
![Picture](/uploads/9/4/5/2/9452404/2802418.jpg)
For four of us, this isn't even the start.
On the 6th June 2011, 4 men signed up for the Brazil IRONMAN 2012. This is one of the toughest endurance competitions in the world. Imagine yourself swimming for 2.4 miles, cycling 111.8 miles and running 26.2 miles (a marathon) in less than 17 hours. This is the IRONMAN, not only a physical but also a mental challenge.
Nevertheless, this is small challenge compared to the challenge faced by millions of people everyday around the world who live under the poverty threshold, in areas affected by conflicts or natural disasters and in underdeveloped regions. These people are our inspiration and we have set up a just giving page to raise some money to help them through OXFAM.
For 12 months, Chris, Darren, Mike and Weslley will be training to complete this race in under 12 hours. You do not need to be a superman but you need discipline and support from your girlfriends, friends, family and colleagues. Get on board with us in this challenge, support us and help us to raise money for OXFAM.
